Sea-washed Welsh Slate Buttons (3 Medium)

These buttons come from an area where the slates were loaded onto ships after being quarried in Snowdonia. Buttons are carefully selected from fragments that have washed again and again against the sea wall until the edges are smooth and the slate has a subtle patina.

Medium buttons  are approximately 2-2.5ins (5cm-7cm) wide and will vary from the photo.
