Lime Green and Purple Stash

Description

These fibres were dyed in a kilner  jar in a waterbath as I experiment with finding alternatives ways to multi dye coloured fibres when solar dyeing is not really an option.

The results were a little unexpected as I thought there would be more purple  but the colours are lovely and its a truly glorious mix of fabulous fibres.

Merino 37g

Tussah Silk 54g, lovely shades of purples and lime greens .

Welsh Kid Mohair 13g

Welsh Wensleydale Fleece from the LLeyn Peninsular 28g

Whole silk cap 13g
